Red Socks!

If you read my past post I was complaining about my neck and how I messed up while attempting to knit socks.  In my case I guess it is "pain no gain!"

Oh well, the neck is much better so I restarted the red socks, one down and one to go!

Knitting Socks On A Standard Machine - I Gotta Thing For Socks, Red Ones Too!

I have a sock mania.  Not just any old sock but squishy comfortable socks.  The below machine knit socks in a hand dyed wool/nylon blend are just that.

Warm, Red Squishy Machine Knit Socks

The only socks I wear at home are the ones that come off of my machine.  Haven't tried them yet?  They are so easy once you do it a few times; a pair can be off the machine in about 40 minutes (without rushing).

Now to graft the toes...

Machine Knit Sock

I dyed the wool/nylon yarn for this sock honoring a "special request" from a good friend.  This was right off the machine.   Just pinned it to the blocking mats to take the photos, I don't block socks.

The toe needs to be grafted and the leg seam sewn.  Knitted on the standard gauge machine, they don't take long to do.
